We all make mistakes. In the heat surrounding this thread, I mistakenly blamed and banned Doug from Midtown. Some instigator got on the forum, and I thought it was Doug. I should have looked at the IP address better.I want to say I am sorry to Doug.
At least you man enough to do it. I hope he understands.
I think he does, he called me, we talked. We have some differences of opinion on a few things, but nothing warranting a Ban. The IP adresses looked the same, I thought he was that other trouble maker. I was really mad that someone changed the Wikipedia Article Bob from Ugly Shingles worked so hard to get for all of us. All you can do when you make a mistake is apologize, and try to make it right.
It takes a big man to be honest and own up when they are wrong. It is too bad that whomever it is doing this isn't man or woman? enough to step up. Sorry you got caught up in this Doug. But I still do not agree that his website directs homeowners here to learn how to wash their own roofs. I find that strange still. KIM R

Sorry to see this happened. I hope Doug is still active after this mistake. We are all only human and it's easy to get anxious in the heat of a moment. This comes from the passion behind this brotherhood. I was angry from the Wiki edit as well, and am aware others will hate on us as well. The best we can do is continue to show that what we are doing is the best anyone is doing for now.
I applaud you Chris, as you have shown over and over that you can admit your mistakes. It's a rare commodity on the forums.
