Yes it is 10 bucks a year, I think it needs to be more, but it is a sticky situation to keep the ranking up there in Google. If it gets closed off , rankings could fall.
So maybe the board needs to be split into two main areas. Or in the shade expanded. But it needs to stay open as an educational tool for consumers as well as newcomers to get a real good understanding of the methods and professionalism practiced here.
Maybe some new ideas might come up to deal with this topic

The overall forum will NEVER be closed to non members, and here is why. Our extremely high search engine rank is because Google can crawl us.  Once we close the forum,. our rank will drop like a rock. It is NOT so much the Forum that is the "problem". It is sellers of roof cleaning supplies and equipment. Like we are in the business of cleaning roofs, they sell equipment. They will educate and set up ANY local competitor to you in a Heartbeat, no shame in their game. This is what they do!

What is fixing to happen is this, no longer will the Forum be free to POST on. It will be real simple, you subscribe to the forum, or all you will be able to do is read it. ONLY subscribers will have posting ability soon.

We still have some Bugs to work out before we implement this.
