Simple. Drop the tailgate and back up doing about 50 and slam on the brakes. Works every time.
To be honest NO. Have you thought about filling up your chem tank with what you need and that might make it light enought to get it out.. Or getting a empty tank and transfering the chem for one to the other.

Beat me to it. I was gonna say pump it into an empty drum. Or into your mix tank and an empty drum.

if you have the space a small deck the hieght of your loaded truck take off tailgait backup to it wheel drums off with dolley lattice and gates to keep kids out run electric and you have loading dock and pump station could even put a roof over it i remove my pw skid this way at retaining wall same hieght as truck loaded down for easier servicing
This is turning out to be a great educational post, just put a rubber tire down and roll it on that, or simply transfer it by using a pump to another drum, but by all means please keep up the great ideas.
Does anyone have a trick for safely getting a 55 Gal drum out of a truck bed by hand?
I've heard of the method of putting down a stack of two or three old tires, then rolling it off sideways till it drops down onto them.
I ask because the only way to get SH around here is in drums.
I had to buy it in a 55 gallon drum with a pickup before and had to syphon it out into smaller containers using a small shop vac to get the syphon started.
Or you could always rev up the engine and throw it in drive at max rpm's reminiscent of the old table cloth trick...lol

Get another 55 gal drum set it next to the truck, grab an old water hose cut both ends off and drop one end into the SH tank, place the other end of the hose into your mouth and suck til you get the burning sensation and then drop it into the new tank.
Now I hope you understand that I was joking, and I hope you were joking when asking how to get the thing off your truck

I couldn't agree with you more Dwayne, This post is about as stupid as the one where the guy couldn't figure out how to carry his gun up the ladder while yet having both hands on the ladder, and to make matters worse this clown got upset because the moderators closed the thread before he got his answer.
One member suggested that he should stick the gun in his mouth while climbing the ladder, so that his two hands would still be free to do other things
