spray nozzle question

tried to search this cause i know i read some stuff about this but i couldn't find it.  so i picked up a metal gilmour garden hose sprayer from lowe's, just the old school run of the mill nozzle. what can i expect out of this? will it last long, should i go with the fire hose nozzle type instead, leaning more towards simple than going with the guns and spray tips etc. what gives the best distance? any thoughts would be helpful. thanks

I was told that this would work for a few roofs or until i could get some jobs rolling in:

LOL that's the one wink


Spray tips always out perform nozzles for one simple reason.  You can choose the orafice size.  There will be an orafice size rated for your pump.  Your pump supplier will have the nozzles.
