The teaspoon reference was a goof. Was 10 1/2 cents actually calculated? Anyhoo how much is used for roof mix and downstreaming for housewash?

If these posts didn't come up under recent posts, I would never see them. I can't remember the last time I went to post through the home page. It is useless to these guys if people can't see their posts offering specials.

My 2 cents.

Brian

Thanks Brian, as you point out, if users of the RCIA can't see our distributors posts, what good are they ?

So How is it any different than it has always been?  I thought they would be seperate from regular post and if you wanted something you could go to Their " HOME" and look around and see what they have.  I like the idea just don't see if their post are mixed in with ours how is it different. Thanks, Doug

Doug, if I made it different by making their new homes a completely isolated section of the forum, it would deny our distributors the SEO clout of the forum. This way, our distributors only have to monitor ONE section of the forum to respond to potential customer requests.

We're currently working on a web store for your convenience. But, in the meantime, please call for pricing if you need anything.

In the meantime, here's a downloadable pdf catalog of mainly pressure wash related products.

I know, that's why I figured it out. You'll find I'm a little goofy. I enjoy looking at the lighter side of life, and an opportunity for humor is always taken advantage of.

80 / 128 oz = .625 cents / oz.

.625 / 6 tsp per oz = .104...biggrin

Russ if I understand this correctly, you are a vendor and you are already posting in the wrong area.  Am I correct about this Chris?

I think where the confusion comes in, these posts also show up in the recent topics area. There needs to be some changes made so they only appear here, or nothing  is changed. it is just like it used to be.  Chris--need some help!!

Gary,

I think it is ok for it to show up in the recent topics area. These sub forums need to show up there so they drive traffic to the vendors. If they dont show up there they will get burried in the pile. I think its cool when a vendors sub forum gets some activity and it keeps up high in the reciently posted list. It sayes they are servicing thier clients and keeping relevant.

what do yall say?

AC

Thanks brothers for setting up the opportunity to have other vendors on here. I understand the concern of traveling down the same road again with vendors, as to how they post on this forum. Given time I am sure it will get worked out. The main focus for me is the opportunity to have alternatives to products. By having the vendors on this forum I don't have to spend alot of time searching for them.

Welcome Southside Equipment.

I have a gallon of Apple scent I got from EDIT another distributor and haven't even opened it. Not sure how to mix and at the price don't want to waste it.

If someone that has used it would break down the mixture ratio that would be helpful.

Thanks.

Lets hear it from the vendors.  They should show up in the recent topics area.

I used some today.  Use 10 - 10 ounces / 100 gallons of mix.  I got mine from another vendor also and it came with a separate sheet that told these mixing ratios.  I used 14 oz/ 100 gal and it worked like a charm.  I mixed it in my garage and the whole garage smelled like green apples.  lol

I plan to use it in my upscale neighborhoods where the customers pay more.  They quite often complain about the smell and you want their references.  They also love the suds from the ammonyx lo & mo.

Guys, it seems like a lot of money for a gallon, but if you figure out the cost per job it is really pretty cheap.

The scent basically costs 62.5 cents/ounce. According to Marcus, you are adding 10 ounces to 100 gallons. If a typical roof job uses about 50 gallons of mix, your cost is $3.13. Is it really that expensive when you look at it that way? If you are that worried about the $3.13, add an extra $5.00 to every bid. $5.00 is not going to make or break your estimate.

After my experience with my sample, I will be using it all of the time. $3.13 is worth it to me.

Brian
