I agree with you Scott in regard that Lori owes everyone a public apology. But,,, that is hard to do when you are banned from the board and apparantly apologies are being made behind the scenes by telephone as a result.
Obviously things were not as bad as tempers in the heat of the moment made them out to be or upstanding RCIA members who had been upset by Lori would not be making amends with her.
I realize that you buy from Bob at Pressure Tek and there is nothing the matter with that so long as you do not run other vendors into the ground who have had problems with other RCIA members other than you. Why are you so upset when you have never bought from PWP nor seen their operations?
I paid PWP a visit while I was in Tampa last month so that I could see what their operation was about. It is small, over crowded, & under staffed. I could feel their pain as I have got my company in the same situation. I am so busy working "in" my company that I do not have time to work "on" it. They are in the same situation. There are only 4 people at PWP. Rex, Diane (his wife), Lori, & Kelly ( a new hire). Lori is the only one who knows anything about roof cleaning and she has been trained by Chris Tucker and a few other locals. When I went to visit them I had to wait for 4 hours before she had a chance to even talk to me. But once she did, I had her undivided attention. That girl was on the phone for the entire 4 hours and when not was running around helping pull orders and helping customers who were there before me. One thing I noticed while listening to her on the phone was that she talked too long with each customer to make sure that they got everything they needed. If she talked less they would not have gotten every thing that they needed and she could have helped other customers. I have never heard of a vendor spend that much time with me. That is why I do business with her, even when the orders do not always ship on time or are incorrectly filled. Yes I get agravated but it is not the end of the world. Once Kelly gets trained and knows the difference between a 1/2" hose and a 5/8" hose things will get better.
As you get older you become more tolerant of these type of situations and you chill out. As my personal friend I beg of you to quit bashing Lori. I do not bash Bob and I had a bad experience with his helper. Nobody in this world is pefect and that includes me. We all try to do the best that we can and make the best of the situation. And most importantly, it is of utmost importance to me that you do not take offense to this post. I have bit my tongue for a while not, but I finally got tired, like others on this board who I have talked to by phone) of listening to you bash a vendor that you have no relations with.
Since you are good friends with Bob at Pressure Tek maybe you could talk him into joining our forum. The more vendors that we have input from the better in my book. I think he would be an invaluable member.
Man there is a lot of heat that goes around about pwp. I will throw my 2 cents in here and say that I have been treated with great service from them. And if anyone feels they can't get in touch with Lori because she is too busy then they should just buy it from their website. They do have a website purchasing option, there are no humans to work with and it is very easy.

You see, thats where youre wrong. I HAVE bought from PWP. I called 3 times, sent 2 PM's and sent an email. She finally called me when I complained openly and Larry called her and told her to call me. It still took almost a week to get the Am-Lo which doesnt work very well to begin with.

I didnt hear anyone but ME defending Pressuretek when so many were negative about them, and mostly from guys who actually hadnt used them and had only spoken to Lori about them.

Yes it is just my opinion. I was also under the opinion that you had never purchased from Lori because your never gave any specifics only harsh critisism of her and I was wrong. I missed your speaking negatively against any other vendors. You remind me of Marvin Zindler of CH13 news... lol Tell it like it is. Well Scott, since you opened the can of worms about Distributors apologizing for stuff, I saw NO "public apology" from Bob of Pressure Tek on ANY Board for selling you a roller pump he KNEW was doomed to failure ? He knew, because I told him so before he ever sold it. How about we call for a Public Apology to all the unsuspecting Bleach Bandit buyers from your buddy Bob of Pressure Tek ? Shall I post the pictures of THAT failed pump Scott, or shall we get into how he blamed the alcohol in Apple Cider for the failure of the Bleach Bandit Pump you bought from Pressure Tek ? Bottom Line, Bob took care of you Scott for his mistake. Every one makes mistakes, Bob and Lori included. HOW we handle those mistakes is what counts. The day I see a distributor has clearly and intentionally screwed someone over at RCIA, w/o a reasonable effort to make it right, I will Ban them in the worst way possible.

The ONLY reason I bring Bob up is because she has viciously attacked him at every turn. She only goes after Bob so hes the only one I reference.
As for the Bandit, he did make a mistake, you were 100% right, I went public and he stopped selling them shortly after. That was also 2 years ago, and he hasn't sold a faulty system since. Everything has been solid. Bob does not go to any boards except his own.

They learn from us and listen to us, to buy products that we need. Does your supplier that you use, know how to clean a roof? Did your supplier ALWAYS carry roof cleaning supplies? I found the whole Lori thing very odd and chose to comment on it, I have nothing more to add to that fiasco. I didn't realize I needed 380 posts and dual certification to comment. By the way, 380 posts are very impressive. You must be at the top of your roof cleaning game. What exactly have I stole from the RCIA Mike? The secret potion? The elaborate way we plumb pvc pipe together? I suggest you turn your aggressive posts in a different direction.

She told me they desperately need to get it fixed, it is taking so much of her time she has little left to answer the phone!

Rob, Your right i am at the top of my roof cleaning game with over 200 cleaned roofs in two years and many happy customers.
But other than that your right i apologize for the rude comment. Had an overwhelming day and took it out on the wrong person.
