Could you imagine treating one of your customers like crap, then them bad mouthing you, then THEY apologize to you? Doesnt make sense.

I agree with you Scott in regard that Lori owes everyone a public apology.  But,,, that is hard to do when you are banned from the board and apparantly apologies are being made behind the scenes by telephone as a result. 

Obviously things were not as bad as tempers in the heat of the moment made them out to be or upstanding RCIA members who had been upset by Lori would not be making amends with her.

I realize that you buy from Bob at Pressure Tek and there is nothing the matter with that so long as you do not run other vendors into the ground who have had problems with other RCIA members other than you.  Why are you so upset when you have never bought from PWP nor seen their operations?

I paid PWP a visit while I was in Tampa last month so that I could see what their operation was about.  It is small, over crowded, & under staffed.  I could feel their pain as I have got my company in the same situation.  I am so busy working "in" my company that I do not have time to work "on" it.  They are in the same situation.  There are only 4 people at PWP.  Rex, Diane (his wife), Lori, & Kelly ( a new hire).  Lori is the only one who knows anything about roof cleaning and she has been trained by Chris Tucker and a few other locals.  When I went to visit them I had to wait for 4 hours before she had a chance to even talk to me.  But once she did, I had her undivided attention.  That girl was on the phone for the entire 4 hours and when not was running around helping pull orders and helping customers who were there before me.  One thing I noticed while listening to her on the phone was that she talked too long with each customer to make sure that they got everything they needed.  If she talked less they would not have gotten every thing that they needed and she could have helped other customers.  I have never heard of a vendor spend that much time with me.  That is why I do business with her, even when the orders do not always ship on time or are incorrectly filled.  Yes I get agravated but it is not the end of the world.  Once Kelly gets trained and knows the difference between a 1/2" hose and a 5/8" hose things will get better.

As you get older you become more tolerant of these type of situations and you chill out.  As my personal friend I beg of you to quit bashing Lori.  I do not bash Bob and I had a bad experience with his helper.  Nobody in this world is pefect and that includes me.  We all try to do the best that we can and make the best of the situation.  And most importantly, it is of utmost importance to me that you do not take offense to this post.  I have bit my tongue for a while not, but I finally got tired, like others on this board who I have talked to by phone) of listening to you bash a vendor that you have no relations with. 

Since you are good friends with Bob at Pressure Tek maybe you could talk him into joining our forum.  The more vendors that we have input from the better in my book.  I think he would be an invaluable member.

 You had an issue with Bob's helper 1 time. And believe me, if Bob or Russ, or Sunbrite did the same things and had the same crappy service and zero knowledge as PWP I would rail against them as well. Bob has made mistakes and I have let the workd know of them as well.

My allegiance is not to suppliers it is to other contractors. If something is amiss, you will know about it if I do.

Also, I dont really care who is tired of reading it. If the positive things about PWP are accepted, then so should be the negatives. I didnt hear anyone but ME defending Pressuretek when so many were negative about them, and mostly from guys who actually hadnt used them and had only spoken to Lori about them.

And lastly, Marcus, you have known me long enough to know that I do not take offense to anything. Its all opinion and as long as you do not attack me personally I accept everyones opinion, whether I agree with it or not.

If this is not accepted by the masses, please let me know, and I will willingly remove myself from this forum. But I will not be silent on this and still contribute to this forum.

Well Scott, since you opened the can of worms about Distributors apologizing for stuff, I saw NO "public apology" from Bob of Pressure Tek on ANY Board for selling you a roller pump he KNEW was doomed to failure ?  He knew, because I told him so before he ever sold it. How about we call for a Public Apology to all the unsuspecting Bleach Bandit buyers from your buddy Bob of Pressure Tek ?
Shall I post the pictures of THAT failed pump Scott, or shall we get into how he blamed the alcohol in Apple Cider for the failure of the Bleach Bandit Pump you bought from Pressure Tek ?  Bottom Line, Bob took care of you Scott for his mistake. Every one makes mistakes, Bob and Lori included. HOW we handle those mistakes is what counts. The day I see a distributor has clearly and intentionally screwed someone over at RCIA, w/o a reasonable effort to make it right, I will Ban them in the worst way possible.

First, I would call Rex but they probably wouldn't answer. Did you try?

Second, yes you may treat your customers well, but you will make a mistake. I know I will, I am human much like you.The only difference is when you do you wont run their name through the mud and call them liars publicly. You'll take care of them, cause you're a good business person. As I am trying to be now...by trying to get you to to understand that what you are doing is running their name thru the mud...just as you stated above.

Third, Do you know why Lori asks questions here? Because she knows nothing about roof cleaning. Who did you learn it from? Were you born with the knowlege of roof cleaning? They learn from us and listen to us, to buy products that we need. Does your supplier that you use, know how to clean a roof? Did your supplier ALWAYS carry roof cleaning supplies? I mean come on now....And neither does her Dad.

They do have a website purchasing option, there are no humans to work with and it is very easy.

That is a problem, their website purchasing option, Lori told me at the Tampa Roundtable. She said it don't always work correctly, and that was 1/2 the reason she was not returning phone calls quickly. She said something about finding a web guy to fix it.

One more bump in the road or head ache for a growing company.  When they can get it fixed that will help tremendously for those who just need to order from PWP rather than talk to Lori with a question on what to buy.
