I am not glad that Lori and PWP are no longer on this fourm.

All of my orders were handled and shipped promptly. Never a problem. Their prices were always the best I could find and I always got great advice when I called with questions.

Lori was not good with calling back when I had to leave a message or email. It's an issue I addressed with her privately.

Just because they are banned from this fourm doesn't mean that I will stop doing business with PWP. As long as they carry the products I need and give me customer service acceptable to me I will continue to buy from PWP. That's a personal decision. Everyone has that choice.

I'll tell you what I will miss. All the informative post about various issues we face. Things like dealing with wiring 12 volt pumps, how to make a supply hose with the well point filter that draws from the top, full system setups for roof cleaning etc. Just search Pressure Washer Products and you'll find these posts. I'll also miss the research they did when someone asked about a new product they didn't carry. Ammonyx Lo is a good example. They were always willing to work with roof cleaners to understand our methods and carry the products we need.

It will be interesting to see how new distributors that come to this fourm contribute. Will they take the time to research our methods to find and carry the products we use? Will they make informative post to help us resolve our problems? Time will tell.

BTW I talked to one of the distributors that had a product at the Tampa Expo that I was interested in. I got his card and called him to discuss this product. I ended up getting his voice mail. I identified myself and left a detailed message and asked him to call me back. Well guess what? I never got a call back. So I guess Lori isn't the only one who doesn't return calls.

I also agree with you. I have my own feelings and ideas as to what was behind this whole drama, but to keep from opening up another can of worms, I will keep my feelings private. Wonder why no other supplier has shown any interest in our wants and needs up to this point? Guess time will tell who is right or wrong.

Traditionally, Distributors on Forums kept a "Low Profile" . The First Forum of this kind belonged to Delco Cleaning Systems of FT Worth, TX. WE called it the "Delco Board". Though it was owned by Delco, you seldom saw them posting specials, or even posting, unless asked to do so. Many times on the old Delco Board, I even saw stuff that Delco sold being bad mouthed,  and it was allowed. Larry Hinckley from Delco who ran that board chose to "let the Guys be Guys" and leave them alone. You knew Delco was always there to help you, but ONLY when asked.
This tradition has kind of carried over to other Forums of today.

RCIA was unique in that we had a distributor really Into Roof Cleaning, posting like one of the guys. I spent countless hours with Lori on the phone, educating her about all aspects of roof cleaning. She really wanted to learn. Every time she had a question she could not answer for a customer, she came to me, until she could.
She learned our business,  talked our language, and participated on the forum.
This is the kind of distributor we are accustomed to at RCIA. Just as we educated Lori, we can educate other distributors, if they have the willingness to learn.
In fact, several have called me and Bill.

May PWP move on and learn and grow.

May they learn to avoid snakes and avoid the traps that snakes lay.

Amen.

It's the Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you." It is the ultimate norm of high morality in our culture. Sure there are other morals by which we live, but this one phrase embodies our most cherished value: that we should treat people as we would like to be treated.

We are taught it from childhood. We learn it from our parents. We learn it at school. But more than any other place, we learn it in our churches because it comes straight from the Bible. Found in Matthew, chapter 7 verse 12, it is in essence a summation of the Ten Commandments and the Beatitudes from Christ's teaching. If you don't want to be ripped off, don't rip off others. If you don't want your spouse to cheat on you, don't cheat on your spouse. If you don't want to be judged, don't judge.

Now it's true we don't always abide by the Golden Rule. We often hurt others in ways we, ourselves, would not like perpetrated against us. Some of life's hardest lessons are actually reminders that we have treated another in a way we would hate to be treated ourselves.

Chris is 100% correct on this. She picked all of our brains for months used our ideas and passed them on. She also worked her fathers vast knowledge in as well. Was this smart? Absolutely! Did she end up helping the Newbies. Absolutely! But she simply picked the brains of Larry, Chris Tucker, myself, Bill, Dave, and everyone else on here.

Some of you want a Roof Cleaning distributor to jump on here. Keep in mind as old as this industy is it is still new to many and equipment is still behind in times. It has only been in the last couple of years that roof cleaning has become a profesion that has gone nationwide( I can say this with confidance due to many post on "how do I educate customers about roof cleaning") So it boils down to supply and demand. We are only now seeing a demand for roof cleaning equipment and distributors. I know some things are in the works and you should see some other great companies with some great products at a fair price.

The Bible tells us "A Vine is known by the fruit it produces, a good Vine bears good fruit, a bad vine bears bad fruit" The Bible also tells us "Thou must not bear false witness against thy neighbor" It also teaches us forgiveness, for God commands us to forgive others, as he forgave the world.

Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us; roof cleaning

and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
