Im just guessing but probably 4 out of 10 customers who we wash a house for ask about their windows. Of course we soft wash them while we are washing the home and I tell them that. I never guarantee perfection and explain to them that normally they look real good and we never get any complaints.
I know we are passing on a great up selling (or cross selling?) opportunity.

I'm not a big Ettore guy. I buy all Unger Window cleaning equipment.
I started buying Unger when I started windows years ago, and just stuck
with what I know. It is all good stuff..... just the same as the old Chevy Vs. Ford
debate. I do agree that ShopWindowCleaningResources.com IS the best place
to buy any window cleaning equipment. They RULE!!!!
Chris
Many of my window cleaning friends here in Tampa use ETTORE Chris, never heard of UNGER, but I don't clean windows (unless I mess em up cleaning the roof)

ETTORE is an old company they go way back, that is why allot of guys like them. They have been the
staple or standard for window cleaning for many many years. They do make some
great stuff. Unger has been around for some time as well, but they all make good stuff. As long as it
works, lasts, and makes you money it is a good investment.
Hello everyone, I found this forum in Google. Looks like this window cleaning sub forum is coming along nicely. I look forward to networking with you guys:)
Me too, you can find lots of window cleaning forums on Google.
Window cleaning has been our primary business for decades now. Slowly over the years we've added things like power washing, teak furniture refinishing, gutter cleaning, and now roof cleaning. You've got to stay current in this line of work!
I'm a window cleaner here to (ironically) learn about roof washing! Funny how I gravitate directly to the window cleaning section in every forum. Can't wait to dig in to all the other info here!
Chris, there is plenty to read here, have fun! I clean windows, but I feel like I'm going to have an anxiety attack every time I do because I feel like my skills aren't up to par and I take too long trying to make the windows perfect.
Welcome aboard!

Roof Cleaning and Pressure Washing in Anne Arundel County, and Howard County, Maryland
For those of you who have not seen this method before, it simply involves feeding purified water from a tank in a vehicle down a hose which is attached to a long pole with a brush on the end. The windows are then scrubbed and rinsed clean. The water in the tank is purified with a reverse Osmosis system and de-ionizing resin which means the windows dry clear without water spots. You will probably find more technical explanations for this system around the web but thats really all there is to it.
I found this on Craigslist. Would it work for window cleaning?
