has anyone used any of the large batteries like used in bulldozers, etc? was wondering if they would have any benefit over the deep cycle marine? i have access to two of them for a very reasonable price. thanks

They would work, but really no need since the Delavan pumps don't draw that much  ampherage. If you get to cleaning 6-8 roofs a day they may be better, but weigh out the added weight and size you will be dealing with.

thanks for the input garyw, i didnt consider the weight factor. that'd definitely get to be a pain when i take them out to charge lol. i'm probably better off just springing the extra cash for a good new marine deep cycle.
