I can't tell from the picture but do you tie off you ladder? I would hate to pull that hose and knock my ladder over. Those little giant and their knockoffs are heavy enough not to move but some guys here use standard aluminum ladders.
Good idea.. Simple and effective

I can't help from asking, but why would you tie off your wand, are you just up there hanging out or something? your suppose to spray the roof and come back down and move the ladder and repeat the process.
Or are you leaving it tied off and moving the ladder with it attached? I hope not.
I still don't understand why anyone would spray off the ladder anyway unless it was a very steep roof and the gutter line was close to the ground, or your scared of being on the roof? which is understandable, and acceptable.
I prefer climbing to the highest point of the roof and letting gravity do the work.

We could just get like a railroad nail or whatever that is long and thin and put it into the ground and clip these guys onto it and then put the hose through them. that would be awesome for avoiding flower beds and stuff you would never have to worry about your hose knocking anything down or getting chem residue on plants ever again!!!

you said you could use it to keep your hose stationary!
Well I guess Paul uses it already but I just saw your post and a light went off. I tried those cheasy hose guides last year and they aren't worth a crap, this however would work and work well

I dont like how it could pull your ladder. Yea the stabilizers. If I'm on the roof by myself stabilizer uses on ladder. no ground man. pullin the chem line with the stabilizer has messed with ladder so I pulled straight up from ladder the line. to not mess with the ladder. from the ridge. It would be a funny situation if im on the roof no ground man and the ladder falls! The stabilizers are a big help. I wouldnt use them as an ancoring point unless you could bungee cord the ladder to a spike. Then you got something solid, what I shouldve done before.
