SH Safe Wood Floor Coating
Permalink

Before I move equipment into my enclosed trailer I want to coat the floor and walls with some type of coating to help prevent it from SH. I know nothing will be perfect, but I'm curious as to what the best product vs. cost is.

I'm thinking about using Herculiner on the floor and up the sides several feet. For the rest of the sides I'm thinking about a good exterior paint. Is this the best idea or is there something else I should do?

You can spray it with a spray on bed liner that you would put in the back of your truck.

Good question! I am concerned about my truck -- I have a plastic bed liner, but there is no telling if any corrosive solutions have gotten underneath and started to rust the bed. I have been thinking about taking the liner off and applying a spray-on coating.

What coatings have worked for anyone who has used them?

I've heard good things about Herculiner, I've seen it, it looks a lot like the Rhino liner I had in a previous truck.

I'm thinking about coating the trailer floor and sides up about 2-3 feet and then the truck bed later. I'd like to know of somebody has tried other coatings though.
