Hey guys,

Hopefully I hit the jackpot today. My uncle gave me a Wilden M1 1/2" that he had. Does anyone know if this pump will keep up with the needs of Roof Washing. Also, what distance can I see with a pump like this?

Thanks

Not sure what that pumps wetted materials are,...but I see some metal parts that are going to give up to SH after a short while. Get a spec sheet for the pump and look and see what the wetted parts are made from.

Plastic type materials are better for SH resiliency.

Other than that,...it will probably do just fine. Just get a big enough compressor to match the pumps CFM requirements.

Wilden has excellent customer support. This is an OLD M1 with the metal air valve, a retrofit kit is availiable to update to a non stalling air valve for this roof cleaning pump.
The metal parts are not in the wet path, and the pump is made out of virgin poly, so if you rinse it right away, it will last awhile. I bought a used one of these, it lasted for 3 jobs before it leaked all over, but who knows how old it was, paid 60.00 at a Pawn Shop for it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It paid for itself roof cleaning
