Scott, You and Celeste need to come. It was great meeting you both last year.
We're gonna try Larry. Sorry we didnt make it down last month, we got tied up in Orlando and couldnt make it down that way. We've had some setbacks in the last couple of weeks and may or may not make it this year. If we do, We're definately hitting up The Columbian again though. Best food and sangria Ive ever had.
I called Dana at the Tampa Crowne Plaza today @ (813) 289-1950 and booked my reservation for a Cabana room again. This time I am bringing the entire family...I have 2 other boys coming.
Dana said that I was the 1st of this group to book a room. I wanted the same room as last time so I called ahead. I will be in room 145.
Last year was a fantastic convention & I am looking forward to it again.
Come on guys lets get this show going. It is going to be great. Cabana rooms are still only $129 a night like last year.

Just a warning Scott, they serve BBQ PORK Ribs here in Florida It is about impossible to find BBQ Beef Ribs, or even BBQ Brisket Even finding a bowl of Red w/o beans presents a challenge.

Thank's for thinking about me Ron. I would love to be there but it is along trip.
In Feb of 2009 I drove to Prattville Alabama for my first RT. It was the best ride I ever made. Since then I've driven to the Myrtle Beach RT and flown to Texas for another in Fort Worth. The Florida one is easy for me. Only 15 min from my house. Alabama isn't that far....Like the Nike slogan says,,,,Just do It!!!

Can we get some money donated to RCIA becuase Chris is going to attact the crowds?
I thought RCIA guys donate to the site? All the vendors Donate to the site, Chris is a millionaire by now. LOL
You can see our donations to keep the forum running at the bottom of the page. We recently had to ask our guys to contribute, because our forum balance was getting low. I have received 50 bucks here and there, a few guys up to 100.00, since the forum has been in existence. It would be accurate to say I make more on a good day, then I have since this forum has been in existence. We have NO "other vendors" on this forum, only Lori from Pressure Washer Products, and she is not billed for being here. She has voluntarily donated to the forum to keep us running, and we thank her for that.
I have mixed feelings about even attending the Tampa Roundtable, to be totally honest Ron. While personally I like you and Kory, he has chosen to become my COMPETITOR He has went after roof cleaning in a big way, though I don't go after his commercial pressure washing customers, and have even given him plenty of pressure cleaning work. Armed with a team of low paid Roof Cleaning Mexicans, and "workers comp" that does NOT cover his Mexicans to be on a roof, he has taken several commercial and residential roof cleaning jobs from us, and is smoozing property managers under your guidance, using him putting on the Tampa Roundtable as ammunition, to take even more!
Congratulations Ron, you have unleashed quite a competitor on Me, Nick, Larry, Chappy, and several of us Tampa Guys from PWI by making Kory appear to be the "expert" by putting your Roundtable on. Now, you want ME to attend HIS Roundtable, and for FREE ? That will look 'Real Good" for him to use in his sales pitch to my Property Managers "Look, I am Kory Finley, Apple, Nick or Larry is just "another guy" who attends MY Roundtables, I am the EXPERT in Tampa, I PUT the Roundtables on"
Well, FUK that, I have no intentions of giving my local competitor the ammunition to kill me. Business is Business. My attendance in Tampa will draw many extra people, both from RCIA, and the roof cleaning world, and RCIA wants paid for it. For me even to GO to the Tampa Roundtable, I want "Nationally Known Roof Cleaning Expert and Teacher" printed on the roundtable program, and I will HAVE to be a Featured Speaker, to counter Kory's certain claims to Property Managers and potential customers that HE is "The Expert".
Ron, there is nothing wrong with these Roundtables, except that it is a never ending Party for the people putting them ON, especially when one of those people is MY Local Competitor! 3 or 4 years ago, Kory was going to take a regular JOB, to pay the bills, he was not doing well. Thanks to this Tampa Roundtable, he has positioned himself as "The Expert" in the Tampa Market, and is using it as a deadly sales tool against myself, and the other local guys.
MY advice to you Ron is this, IF you want me, and the other Tampa Guys to support you, get ANY Local Competitors name the Fuk OFF the Tampa Roundtable Program and National Cleaning Expo Web Site as "putting it on", except maybe as a speaker. Kory IS showing this crap to both Property Managers and residential customers, and taking work from us local Tampa Guys !!!!!
Lori can do as she pleases, with donating a Hot Water Skid to the Roundtable, but IF she asks me, I will tell her she is cutting my throat, and all the local Tampa Bay Area customers she sells to, by legitimizing Kory Finley and HIS Roundtable, and allowing him to take work from us all!
Again, I personally like Kory Ron, but business is business. He is USING this Tampa Roundtable as a deadly sales tool against me, and the other Tampa Guys, please tell me WHY I should support it ?
This is the bottom line Ron, make the changes I suggested, and put yourself, not us Tampa Guys Local Competitor, as being in charge of the Tampa Roundtable. Get Kory Finley's name OFF any thing he can use against us local Tampa Guys to gain an unfair sales advantage. Then, RCIA and I will support it. I will help YOU Ron, and YOUR Roundtable. Sorry, I will NOT help Kory cut my throat, and the throats of the other Tampa Cleaning Contractors, ain't gonna happen Ron.
I will go one step further and say this, ANY Tampa Bay Area Cleaning Contractor who atends this Tampa Roundtable with Kory Finleys name still listed as being in charge of it is STUPID! And ANY contractor from out of state who attends this if it is not FIXED is NOT my friend, nor a friend of us guys trying to make a living here in Tampa.
Ron, you have a serious problem with these Roundtables, as long as ANY Local Guys Name is on them as "putting them on". Your Local "Boys" like Jeff LeCours in Myrtle Beach, Thad in New Orleans, and Kory Finley in Tampa, are using these Roundtables to STEAL Work from the poor, unsuspecting cleaners all over the Country who support these Roundtables.
Well said Chris. I have followed the information and was planning to attend to finally meet all the knowledge of Non Pressure Roof Cleaning from all over the country that are going to be in attendance. Couldn't understand why you were only going to be a speaker and not listed in prominance, your above response now makes sense.
With all that said, on the lighter side. I speak Spanish on a native level, worked many years farther south where I needed the skills. The former head of the US Border Patrol is retired in Tampa, can I bring him as my guest? We can ask lots of questions in Espanol and check everyones Green card. On a good day you can have 3 workers Manuel, Jose, and Roberto all with the same SSN makes for a real comedy show. Like the lights coming on at a really bad Honky Tonk at last call or roaches leaving the kitchen when the cook shows up in the morning at 5 AM to start his day.

Ron, weve known each other for a long time through PWNA and Chris makes a very good point. I only found out about the round tables through RCIA and without them I would have never come. Kory helps a lot to put the round tables on but he should not use these round tables as a weapon against Chris to further his business. Why should Chris or RCIA members come?
Chris, I receive yearly statements from PWNA. I think that you should do the same to be a member of RCIA and have the right to post on this board.
I just had the pleasure of talking to Marcus on the phone about his compressor and this round table issue. I just want to take a moment to thank you Marcus and many others who have called me and other forum leaders to express their concerns for the board, industry and group as a whole. Its guys like you that make all this happen and all input and advice has helped us see a bigger picture and acheive this awesome community we have today.
I have not ever met Ron or Kor face to face. I have spoken to Ron a few times and I beleive I spoke to Kory once. Both seemed like intellegent, carring and hard working men. Both seemed to have the industry as well as their own affairs at in mind and in their hearts. I truely hope this can be worked out so we may work better together. Unfortunettly we are all in the same line of work (more or less) and that means we are all competitors. If we can find a way to be such without crushing one another or offending one another it would be grand. (and probably hard to acheive :) )
I will attend the event if our founder will, otherwise I will not. I have no intention of badmouthing either party and truely understand that it's hard to be friends and competitors and educaters and industry icons all at the same time. I have never physically attended a round table event and have not truley ever introduced myself to the pressure washing community. I have plenty to learn just like anyone else and value what we have created here and respect the power and motivation of PWP as well even though I do not take the time to post there. Truely to earn my disrespect one must prove that they are more focused on goals other than the ones they state to people. Such as the way many roof cleaning franchisors sell PW equiopment to people knowing that the shingle manufacturers warrenty will be voided by this process while telling the franchisee that they have the franchisees success in mind. Or the way ARC tells people they know how to market roof cleaning when they are start ups and failed companies and are just figuring it out on their own.
