If your cleaning asphalt shingles most people has switched to the Ammonyx. but how-ever becareful not to get it on any painted surfaces, or dry on windows, and besure to mix it with warm water.

I notices your a new here, I suggest you to use the search button and do alot of reading.

+1 to walks comment. exnay the TSP and switch to a safer surfactant like Ammonyx Lo. Depending on your pump, it may not be safe at all to use it due to the clumping factor.

We only use TSP on Flat Bare Concrete Tile Roofs anymore. TSP's concrete whitening ability is pretty good. On Shingle Roofs, Ammonyx LO has replaced it, except on the really filthy ones, we may add 1/4 cup TSP per gallon of total mix, once in a blue moon.

I used to use TSP but don't anymore. I don't think it contributes much to cleaning asphalt shingles. If you do use it, first dissolve it in hot water.
