Brad,

5/8" hose is best.
Use an integral filter/regulator close to the pump.
Use a filter made out of PVC and get rid of that stainless one that you are using in your tank.
Use a 3/4" or 1" ag hose on the supply side of the pump
Use ANY nozzle that you like! You can use a 1.0 to a 90 capacity nozzle. (saves chemical)
You will need a short length of air hose to connect the compressor to the pump (and 1/4" nipple)
Use your current wand assembly or switch to a ball valve assembly.

Lori, do they make couplers that do not leak so you can connect a 100' x 5/8" hose to a couple of 50' sections in case you need more hose?

Marcus, Lori has quick disconnects, just be sure to install them so that the Female end is towards you ( which is natural ) otherwise when you pull the hose it could catch on something and disconnect.

I have to reverse mine they have disconnected on me several times, not good.

So just so I am on the same page, I would need to buy a small piece of air hose to connect the compressor to the pump, I can keep my chemical tank and I just attach the inlet side (chemical) to the pump and the outlet side to the pump and that is it?

I have never used an air compressor in my life, so sorry for the idiot questions. Any help is appreciated!

here's some pics...
One in to each tank and one out from each tank. One accessory in to fill the SH tank and one Accessory out to drain the entire system or hook up anything. The reds are all out the blacks are all in/ The far left out is for the hose reel (not there in this pic) This rig is still being completed with a mounted PW, and some hose reels and tool boxes.

Mike Sullivan uses the poly cam locks. I have seen a bunch of poly fittings break in half lately. Does anyone have godd/bad feedback on the poly fittings barbs or cam locks?

We prefer brass. It is extremely durable.

Agree on the poly fittings. We keep a good stock on hand because they do break pretty often. The Cam locks are much better.

I switched to brass hose barbs because the nylon and poly fittings got weak over time and cracked or broke and a few times.

Brass corrodes a lot but mostly on the inside where you don't see it so you don't know how much corrosion is really there unless you take a look at it once in a while.

I had the hose pop off the hose barb on a job recently and I looked at the inside of the hose barb and it needed to be replaced.

The hose popped off because of the chemicals starting to swell the hose over time at the fitting.

I replaced the brass fitting to be on the safe side.

No matter what kind of fittings you use, you should cut the end off the hose about 2" or 3" back from where the end of the hose barb is and replace the fitting at least every 4 to 6 months to be safe.

I choose brass over the nylon or poly because of how often they would crack or break and the brass is a lot stronger but with these chemicals, nothing will last forever but so far brass is a good choice.

Brass is a lot more durable, as far as breakage goes, and is not a problem, if replaced before it fails.

The Lowes/Home Depot brass hose fittings are lousy compared to ones from a decent hardware store.

Here are some pictures of the camlock fittings Marcus, I am sure that you probably have seen them before. Most of the gas/diesel trucks use them when delivering fuel to the gas stations, they use the 3" and 4" hoses.

I get mine from a hose supplier and the brass is a lot thicker and better quality.

There are some really thick brass ones on the Internet I have seen. I ordered some of these once, but when they failed, just went to home depot to get up and running again.

Thanks Chris for the info. I have seen them before and even use them on a large water transfer pump that I have. I just did not know what they were called.
