I went to Northern Tool and got 4 boxes of Hercules bed liner and put it down on the floor and 3 feet high on the walls, that has been a big help for me. I try and keep my leaks under control too.
You have not lived until a rusted out driveshaft breaks on you at 65 mph in traffic on the freeway! Rubber Mat sold at places that supply conveyor belts and rubber products worked good for us.
years past we had equipment in large van got stopped for liquid leaking at time just h2o to prevent we made a containment using 2x4 with rubber roof had left from a job put two drains attatched to hose we could unplug to drain the rubber roof material held up to acids detergents sh but floor eventually rusted out anyway
I used clear, black and silver. I had a wood trailer last year and I saw what you mean on the boards. We had big gouges at the end of the season maybe 1/2-3/4" thick !!
We are trying a product called Armor Seal from Sherwin Williams . It's a heavy duty floor coating . The guy I work with had put this on a commerical pool. I will keep you posted on how it works .
Seriously, SH eats wood up. Every truck/trailer I've ever had I've done partial decking replacement yearly. Frequently rinsing helps. On my old company's trailer we went with the "fake" stuff for decking, it helped, but was very expensive.
On my new truck, I drilled holes in the leak prone areas, so in theory, must of the leaks drip straight through and don't hit the wood.
