Anyone ever used Intuit?

I've seen several TV ads about Intuit for building a website.Has anyone ever heard of them, maybe uses or used them before? It seems pretty good, but I have no idea what I'm doing as far as that type stuff goes.I also noticed on their website they have a mobile credit card thing.Fees seem very reasonable.Do any of ya'll use creditcard machines?I've always felt most people would feel more comfortable swiping the ole card than pulling out the ole cash-a-roo.Any thoughts on this? Thanks any advice

I have been using "Intuit Accounting Quick Books" for 15 years it is a love hate relationship I have never heard of intuit for websites... We use MS front page to make our web sites, all this stuff can get very costly have you tried using a free blog site, you can make as many as you want and their free.

We have credit card capabilities however it does cost money to use it I like it because it gives you another sales edge, with that said nothing beats cash and you should offer a cash discount like at the gas pumps. biggrin

ive seen intuits commercials as well. they seem to offer those web sites for like 50 bucks. they also offer credit card terminals. the rates they charge for those seem to be fairly reasonable. its something like 20 bucks a month and 1 to 2 percent of transactions depending on volume. no contracts i think and the portable machines can run off ur smartphones using bluetooth. theyre like 200 bucks and u own them, not lease them.

Thanks to all that responded......Bob Jr.,I like the cash discount idea. That'll def. be something I'll consider..........Deputy,that's exactly what I'm saying! No contracts and only $20/mth,I just don't think you'll beat that!....And Chris,I think I may try the homestead.I remember seeing some other guys oin here that uses it.Seems like there's a tight race between homestead and godaddy from what I've seen in other posts on here

I also been using Intuit Accounting Quick Books for contractors for some time now. However for the basic job when you're getting paid at the door and only have a line or two of service Intuit could be way too much. For the faster, cash jobs I been using

http://www.avanquest.com/USA/software/myinvoices-%26-estimates-deluxe-10-123767?meta=small-business&cat=accounting-finance-software⊂=office-essentials-software

Well worth the money. you can even send a estimate or invoice via email in the forum of a pdf file.
I love it.

I checked it out and went with Expand2Web by Don Campbell. I have talked to Don a number of times on the phone and he walks me through things and answers all e-mails. Has great how to vedio's also. It's simple and straight forward. It is based on Wordpress 3.
