Eric from Bayou Power Wash and Roof Cleaning came up with the idea of coloring the Love. I am working on getting a couple colors of chlorine stable dye for the mix. I will be experimenting with a few colors and testing it with a chlorometric test kit to find out the results. I will keep you posted.
Looks like we will offer at least 7 fragrance choices to cover up the smell of the SH! I am eagerly awaiting package pricing.
I am looking into several shaving cream type foaming chemicals. I like to buy the raw chemical instead of a brand name to save you guys some money. We are grateful for our RCIA family and look out for each of you.
We should also think of some nice professional names for different styles of the love i know theres billybob and others but maybe some other professional names so we can refer to them around or customers?

As a regular additive? Synergy with the ammonyx lo?
Sounds great.

Lori, What's the purpose of the shaving cream chemical your talking about? I did a roof today with the Amonyx Lo and I think it worked great. I do want the fragrance though. The sooner the better. I started cleaning roofs today and plan on doing them from here on out. It's warm enough now. Thanks
Good question! I have had a few requests for the chemical from roof cleaning guys, pressure washers, and flee twashers. Some guys want an even thicker mix.
Lori, I must admit that the shaving cream, foam type chemical has me hesitant. I would think that a foam would not allow a high enough solution of SH to hit the roof. Upon first thought, it seems that a foam would significantly dilute the mixture, not allowing the SH to be activated at a pH strength needed to effectively clean roofs.
also, how would the dye effect a home? white aluminum siding with red dye? that could be a nightmare? like legit Friday the 13the looking? any ideas how STRONG this dye will be? will it rinse off easily? I like the idea to really give a good curb appeal while performing the job, but what are the possible after effects?

Good questions Paul! The yellow color of the SH is bad enough, dries to a brown haze on some roofs. But just think, red, chlorine stable Dye ? Just the thing to do a white roof belonging to a bleeding heart liberal
I guess my question is,why would you put a dye in it to start with?I mean I can understand the fragrance to surpass the SH smell, but why the dye?It make no sense to me.Maybe I'm still you ng and dumb in 'this' field but...anyway
No it's a good question. The color of the mix seems irrelevant to the bottom line. If it increases your bottom line some how than great. It would seem that adding color would only add to the cost of the mix. I do not use fragerence but some do.
Well,I mean...I haven't used the chems yet because I want to make sure everything else is in place before ordering the chems. However,I know I can't STAND the smell of household bleach, let alone 12.5 or 15% SH.That would be the reason I,my self, would like the fragrance.
Use your safety equipment and you won't mind the smell. ( respirator ). If you think you don't need one ask Chris who has been doing this longer than anyone.

I have had a few requests for the dye. When you guys ask me to find something, I take it seriously. I am constantly researching better pricing for you and better products.
I refuse to offer any products that will cause customer disatisfaction.
These are great questions that you guys bring up. They are all very important points. I have taken note and will give you as much feedback as possible. I appreciate your concern. I am not sure when the dye will arrive.
You are right, Chris. We don't want to have the roof look like it is bleeding or damage any paint! I anticipate light colors.
Have you ever seen the soaps at car washes? Sometimes they stripe your vehicle.
Thanks for the questions.
