Please do not get me wrong but I feel that it is important to know how Sodium hypochlorite can affect us, the fact is that it is a dangerous chemical and should be treated with respect, in this link you can see some details http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bleach  such as

The OSHA highest allowable peak concentration (5 minute exposure for five minutes in a 4-hour period) is 200 ppm

12.5% hypochlorite = 125,000 ppm diluted 50/50 (water/ chlorine) means that our mix contains 62,500 ppm a 25/75% mix contains 31,250 ppm (parts per million)

In Australia the maximum allowable exposure limit over an 8 hour period is 1.0 ppm

most swimming pools are around 2.0 ppm

The health effects at the levels that we use are serious and real!

Please do the right thing, resporators, clothing etc. please take this chemical seriously.
A lot of newbies splash this stuff around like it's water, it is not. and potentially can kill

The reason why I mentioned this is that the other day I copped a big bad nose and lung full of this stuff, and the experiance got me worried, it took over an hour for me to start to feel normal and settle down

I started to question the wisdom of using this stuff

It scared me!
