2 summers ago i started doing roof cleaning but because of the economy i didnt get to get it going last year. im getting ready to start it back up. i research alittle before jumping in. now im trying to gain knowlegde so that i can get going this year. ive done about 10 roofs total. i have a 50gal tank and when i was doing it i was using the apple cider and putting it on and then rising it off with the garden hose. the last couple of days ive been on here reading a lot. but from when i started to now it seems that people are just putting it on and not rinsing it off. is this the way to do it? or are their companys rinsing off as well? should i be using the apple cider sauce. please help. thank you for the excitment of getting the info out there. i really appreciate the help.

                             THANK YOU, greg

"BILLY BOB" the mix is call like that in honor to Billy Jensen. he was the one who first found out about **AMMONYXX LO** ammonyxx lo is a pure surfactant that you can use insted of Down or NP 9 in your mix.

Just make sure you rinse all plants, siding, windows, (animals), anything that could have also come into contact with the chemicals. Shouldn't hurt the roof, but I like to rinse.

First of all I never say never.  I have done some and rinsed and done some and not rinsed.  I only rinse if the customer requests it.  After the initial cleaning I flush the gutters into my bags and carry the excess away.  I explain to them that the longer the chem stays on the roof the better it will clean and that if I do rinse it may shock or kill some of the plants.  That weeds out about 90% of them.  If they still insist, I finish packing up all of the equipment to give it time to dry out real good then rinse with a garden hose. (after they sign the disclaimer about the plants)

If they want a rinse, I didn't think of a disclaimer. Thank for the heads up.

Leave it on , cause if you rinse it off theirs no dwell time. If you give them a guarantee you'll be back out cleaning it again, or far worse. Have them sign a disclaimer for that it will kill their plants.
