Well i did it. I funally did my house. the house that started this journey into the roof cleaning world. Everything went well. I used about 35 to 40 gal of love. It took about 45 minutes to set up and about 45 mins to get the roof. my gutters were full of leaves so i had slow run off. i did the roof yesterday and love was still coming out of the down spout this morning. I was thrilled and my family was impressed. i did it in 39 degrees with hot water. my 5850 did fine! Gloves were neccesarry and my blue sweat shirt is now a blue with white poka dot sweat shirt.
Thanks Chris Tucker and everyone else! I went and passed out my first fliers today and felt good about what i was selling.
Congrats on your first cleaning, looks good just till a really heavy rain. 39 degrees is pretty cold but you got to get your experience somewhere. Great job and good luck in your roof cleaning future.

Thanks guys! I used apple cider sauce. Did not rinse. It totally made sense. I can really see that when the next rain comes you almost get a bonus wash. The only thing is we had alight rain this morning and some strong love came out of my gutter. There was not enough rain to really get it down the driveway. Any thoughts?

Don't confuse soap suds coming out of the downspouts with "strong love". The suds may continue for several rains depending on how much you used and the amount of rain. Most of the SH will be inactive after 8-12 hours and should not be a problem. Rinse with your water hose if there's any doubt.

it's my understanding that it's the light rain you really need to be concerned with because it's just enough to create problems with the vegetaion intead of a soaking rain wetting everything down.
Most of the SH will be inactive after 8-12 hours? Where else can i find that info? I would like to be able to tell a customer that. The mix that came out of my gutter still had a strong bleach oder.
I have seen where it has lost it's ability to kill mold within 1minute of hitting a 160 deg Tile or Shingle Roof surface. Typically on an average temp day the strength and potency of the sh will only last up to an hour or 2 in say 65-70 deg Roof Surface temp. After this it begins to break down to just a salt ( sodium) and is harmless.
