Does anyone know what size nozzle that I could use on an air pump to mist the gutters with chemical and not waste a lot of chemical. In the past I have used a automatic back -pack sprayer. The air pump that I have will work fine with a low orfice nozzle. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Roy Lawson
You can go down as far as you like Roy on an AODD Pump. I would thing a 1 to 2 gpm will be fine.
A 1515 nozzle is good for misting the gutters, however I use a handheld sprayer, then a little brushing agitation is required, and simply rinse off. If the other stuff doesn't require agitation, I will certainly look into it.
I'm using the F-13 (gutter grenade) after I've softwashed the house. I apply it with a pump up, let it dwell 5-10 minutes and then rinse off. I rarely have to brush it or agitate, but I think the secret is to wash the gutters before hand and cut through the "crust"

Yes, you do have to be carefull of plants. I have used gutter grenade and it works but it will spot plants. They need water before and after. I believe anything that will clean tiger striping off of gutters can be hard on plants.
