For demos I use a 2 gallon pump up sprayer. You could get by with a smaller one. I usually just use a water/SH mix. Climb up on ladder and spray a 3x3 foot spot. Let the love do its job and rinse if necessary. Do this on the front of the house. That way if the homeowner wants to think about your quote he will have a reminder each time he comes home.
The Door hanger looks great! I used hangers last year and they worked great. I put them in the flag of the mail box. I bent them in half without creasing them.
A lot of front doors and garage doors are metal. I got adhesive biz card magnets, $14 for 50 cnt. Cut them in qtrs. Stick the flyer to the magnet. Takes a little prep time but works great. I take a bunch of flyers with and without magnets as I go door to door.
That same company also makes the "Band IT" product too. I'd like to try those for porch doors. I've bookmark this company for a couple of months now, but haven't needed to reorder door hangers. There prices seem great, lower than vista print. I'd love to see the finished piece quality

I hate to interupt, but the mention of credit cards poked up at me..lol./...Has anyone ever tried the Intuit credit card thing?I've read and it seems pretty descent from what I've read. You can take and process their cards via cell phone.Their rates seem to be good also!Been thinking of this idea.If this needs to be in another post on it's own please do what you gotta do .I'd just like to know if anyone has ever tried this and what are your thoughts on it.Thanks
Ive used Adeas. They are reliable and good quality. I got the regular doorhangers. They were cheaper as well. Ive still got 1000 left from last year we are about to put out. I dont think I would like some one sticking something on my home. I do have the stick it Bus. cards though. I get a lot of good comments about them.
On credit cards
I just got setup to accept them this year and have yet to use them. When I do I have a 1 800 number to call. Then a set of directions to follow. Itll probably just be a pita but I thought it would present an even more proffesional look as well as getting a job I might not otherwise get. I guess we will see.
That is a nice door hanger, sure gets them thinking about their roof.

I like the door hanger idea as well someone was also suggesting putting the quote on it if the home owner wasn't home? Not sure if that would be effective.

I think the hangers look good.. I'd be weary of the tape on a painted door, and it might be a pain if you were hitting a bunch of homes lugging around the layers of the hanger that you tear off after revealing the adhesive backing. Nonetheless, it sounds like a decent idea to me because door hangers can be a pain trying to get around the door knob on some homes. Also, like someone else stated, I've seen a lot of my door hangers on the ground after a strong wind comes blowing through!

I like the door hangers. I ordered some earlier at the start of the year with the "stick-it." I love them and haven't had any complaints. However, I have only passed about 300...getting good results though.
