What do you guys and ladies think about this chemical strainer.  It is about a little over six inches long, composed of nylon and 50 mesh?

OK.  Guys and Ladies, I just got off the phone with the KING of ROOF CLEANING experience, Chris Tucker from Apple Roof Cleaning in Tampa Bay.  This filter should be used with water and is not really recommended for use with your recipes.  Stay away from stainless filters also.  We also have a number of other industries that use various filters.  We carry a lot of filters.  I like to present products to you guys and ask for feedback.  I rely on you guys and ladies.  Thanks for the heads up.

You can make your own filters by using PVC pipe, PVC fittings, PVC cement, hole saw, a grommet and a drill.  Keep it simple and inexpensive.  Go to Home Depot, Lowe's or your local hardware store for the supplies.  It makes sense to save the money and make a filter out of PVC that will outlast anything that Spraying Systems, Hypro or another roof cleaning website offers.  It will cost you only a little time and not much money.  Have your child help you drill the holes with your supervision.  Teaching your child will harbor self-confidence and provide a growing experience for both of you.   Thanks again.  Lori

Do you already have them in stock? I'll stop by this week for one. That is way better than the filter/strainer I'm using now.

In THEORY Lori, nylon and stainless are not real good for Chlorine use.
Neither is Brass, but we do use brass hose barbs, they last awhile, then we replace BEFORE they have the chance to fail !

I have had real problems with stainless steel screens in strainers breaking, then slicing up my pump parts!

IF this strainer is inexpensive enough, simply replace it often  enough before it fails ?

I did think about the nylon issue. Thanks for making the point for me! I wasn't sure if it would be something that could be used.

Thank you Chris!
