Hey brothers & sisters,
I have a box truck that I don't use for the roofing crews much, I thought this might make a nice cleaning rig. The back floor is wood, ? is should I have it rhino lined or is that needed? I would hate to rot the frame and drive train out. Next how should I vent the box? I could cut the side walls and put louvers in but would that be enough air flow? sitting still in fl. it gets HOT. Lastly do the vapors corrode everything in the box?? Thanks for any opinions and/or advice. PS I'm already in talks with Lori (a real nice girl) bout getting the setup. If yall need anything give her a call, maybe I will get a discount for plugging her.LOL LOL  MW

Ok, first, get some rubber to line the floor with ?
Simply glue/nail it to the wood floor.
Remove the back door, and leave it open.
A side mounted hose reel is best, facing the house you are working on, but in a Box truck, hard to do.
So, mount the hose reel in back, make sure you have room to reel it up ?
Do NOT cut a hole in the tank !!!
Pull from the top of the tank with a pvc feed tube, and use an EDPM or Teflon/Viton rubber gasket so it dont leak.
An electric start compressor will be nice ?

A Box Truck is not as easy to work out of as a flatbed, but it sure attracts business !!!!

Well I hope this helps, here is my box truck. I do not got it lettered up yet, working on that now, waiting on getting the price for it from the sign guy. I put down the hercules liner my self in side, went up about 3 feet up. I put in a hood vent for the heated pressure washer but I run the air pump for roof cleaning. I keep the door open when it is parked in the warehouse I have. I try and keep it very dry in side, doesn't always work but for the most part it works out well.

I hope this helps you out.

WOW you guys are great, thank you for your time and thoughts. I do have a 1 ton flat bed I could use, but like Chris said the box gets attention. I will try to put some pics up of my advertising ideas, Next to doing a good job, a good looking truck is just as important. trucks 001.jpgtrucks 002.jpgtrucks 003.jpgtrucks 004.jpg

holy cow, how do you make the pics smaller??? Sorry guys I'm new to this whole computer thing.
Any how I would wrap the isuzu the same way as the other box, with a roof cleaning theme of course.

Yes I am planning on doing that this winter. I will be pulling everything out except the heated pressure washer. I will be doing my winter maintenance on that and corrosion prevention, rust cleaning. I will also be re-doing my floor again, plus up grades. A 80 gallon air compressor, re-locate my air pump, stack on another titan reel to feed my water tank, plus two new chemical and water feed tank.  I hope to be able to afford to do all that. Thats the plan anyways but see what happens.

HOW did you put the pics in the forum ?
Are they hosted on Photobucket, Picasa, or Flickr, or another remote picture host ?
Or, are they from your computer, and uploaded  using the attach image box ?
Tell me exactly what you did to get the pics on here ?

Hey Chris, good to hear from ya. I pulled them from my computer, one at a time. I'm guessing that is not the way to go.
I think the wraps were around 3k, I've got a trailer thats 7x14 also. They are real eye catchers.

Just curious on how well the Hercules liner is holding up? I'm looking to line the inside of my box truck with something.
