I wanted to ask you guys who have websites if you get many responses from your website? Those of you who optimized your keyword searches do you get many customers from the internet? I am getting ready to launch my website soon and was wondering if there are any suggestions you veterans may have in regards to internet marketing and website exposure. I would like for my website to be a customer generating tool!
Beside website exposure I was wondering how you seasoned veterans obtain new customers and promote your business? Any help is welcomed! Thanks you all!!

On the web site to gain rankings quickly read the posts by Chris, they are a big help.
Here are some of the things I have done.
1. Change your signature from www.GreenGooseCleaning.com to something like Roof Cleaning Louisville, KY and make those words a link to your site. Google will start to relate those words to your site.
2. Start a blog with lots of links to your site.
3. Post on every BBS you can and keep at it. ALWAYS have a signature like I said in #1
I do get a lot from my website, but also when someone calls about needing an estimate and once your done chatting with them just ask, how did you here about our company. I do that all the time just to keep track of where my advertising is paying off, but 50% of the time if not more peeps say they found me on the internet.
Thanks Chris! I am working on it right now and hopefully we will have it launched this week! Thanks so much Chris for all your help. I greatly appreciate it!
