safety- ladders etc.

I am curious about other guys thoughts on second-story safety. I have a problem with using a ladder for second story access. I am thinking of buying a towable manlift, but it seems like it would use up a bunch of time moving it around and it likely won't be able to access all parts of the house. BilJax makes a super small one that might work.

Gilbo,
With the use of a ladder stand off ( buy one at home depot for 35-50 dollars) and a 28-32ft ladder you should have no problem working from the gutter line. I personally do it all the time. If you use the fatboy you should get enough distance to work from the gutterline and spray from ridge down.

There is also a thread here for ladder safety like using a crowbar as an anchor and stand offs. Lots of good information there.
