Put "hose" into the search function. Its in the red bar at the top. Really got to search for stuff on here, guys dont like answering questions easily found in a search. We've all been through this. Its very easy!
Where can I purchase 5/8" hose for my roof pump? I have 1/2" tubing and I would like to upgrade to something bigger.
Call Lori at Pressure Washer Services. 727-562-5488 They have a great selection of hose at very resonable prices along with everything else you need for your business...
I was at HD today and noticed they had 5/8 goodyear rubber hose for $25 per 50ft. Would it be a waste to buy this for spraying roofs?
Get the Red 5/8 Kuri Tec Hose from Lori at Pressure Washer Supply. Rubber hose will work, but not as long as real chem hose. 5/8 is noticeably better then 1/2 inch hose. We use big hose for a reason, it sprays better ! It also has less friction/pressure loss, so it will shoot a stream of chemical farther too. REAL Roof Cleaners use 5/8 or larger Hose. Ever see a Fire man with 1/2 inch hose ??? NOT
Always remember, the shorter and the bigger the hose is, the better. This is not pressure washing, we are not pulling around corners. Seldom do we need much over 200 feet in Florida. That extra 100 feet can really cost you in pump performance.
I think you misunderstood. The green Monster you're referring to is for your ground man. You should use KeriTec 5/8 or 3/4 for your cleaning solution. Lori from PWP canget it for you in red or Blue. I think it is around .60 a foot. Give her a call.
