My name is Blake Meaux. I am 23 yrs old in Houston, Tx and am starting a roof cleaning business here after graduating college. I have been reading a ton and want to thank you all for being so dedicated to the knowledge of others.
I am putting together my rig and need help with something.
1) I am using a 225 gallon chemical tank, 200' of 5/8 hose and a Delevan 5850. What size pvc should I use to draw the chemical out of the tank? Also, what size bulkhead fitting should I use? I have been searching everywhere on here for it and cant find the info.
Check out this link on bulkheads. It has the information you are looking for. If you need more info about them, just type bulkhead into the search function and quite a few things come up.

Thank you very much guys! Would it make sense to use a 1" draw pipe inside the tank, then go down to 3/4 tubing from the tank to the pump? Or should I have them the same size
I am soon to set up my tank and pump set up. My question is: Will the the pump draw the chemical with air in the line or is there some priming involved before it will draw?
I will try that. I will post pics when I'm finished with my setup. I was also thinking of doubling a line after the pump back into the tank to rotate my chemical for mixing purposes. Sort of like a residential water heater tank cleaning system. I havent seen anybody do this. What is the standard for mixing the concoction? I will also double a line before the pump that can be used to transfer water and chemicals into my tank. So I would have a tee before the pump and a tee after my pump to be used for what I just described. I'm I out of line consider designing such a system. Thanx for the input.
