Hey guys,

Haven't seen anything on here about how they determine if your roof warranty is still valid?  Do they do a lab test to a shingle or do they determine if the warranty is still eligible from visual observation?  Or perhaps another way to determine that?  It would be good info to know for our own reference anyways.  Thanks!

Every company and every warranty is different. You would have to look it up for each manufacturer or call them.

confuse Shingle companies pro-rate warranty issues and you must buy their shingle at manufactures list and labor is not included unless the roof is less than ten years old you can get burned with the list price and also you need to have a receipt when the roof was installed or when the house was build
