Wholesale pricing for Dawn and Alcohol......

Those who have started their business as an LLC.............do you guys pay wholesale or retail for your chemicals?

Just curious.  I have set up an account to get my SH wholesale, but I am having trouble with DAWN and the alcohol.

THanks and have a great night.

$178 for 96 gallons (which is a pallat )  96 is the minimum that can be purchased wholesale.

I have to go pick it up for now, until they realize that I am a good customer.  Travel is about 30 miles one way.

Wholesale pricing should be much better for your SH, TSP and Borax (if you use it). Dawn I buy at Walmart and when I use alcohol I buy it at Walmart also. I don't use the 99% ISO when I mix the Cider Sauce and Walmart's prices are pretty hard to beat on Dawn and 70% or 90% alcohol.

Keep in mind that I don't clean 5 roofs a day so I don't have to buy either in bulk quantities.

Those are my thoughts.

WOW! It is hard to believe how much the price of SH varies from state to state and city to city. I pay $ 232.17 for 200 gallons.

You florida guys have it good when it comes to material cost. You pay half of what we pay in Pennsylvania. Then again, our roof cleaning prices are definitely higher up here. There are less people doing it and I find that I have to keep raising my prices because the quotes I am competing against are much higher than mine! biggrin

As long as we all make money! Yea, I too sometimes find myself kicking myself for not going in higher. As the old saying goes, you ca always come down on a price, but you can't go up.

Yes, single gallons of SH.  They offered bulk at a bit less price but I am afraid that it would get stale on me.

I like the gallons.

The thing you may want to watch with the gallon containers is how long they have been sitting at the depot. I know a pool guy that buys 2 1/2 gallon carboys of SH by the pallet and he has a lot of trouble with it being weak.

You may want to ask when they were filled. Find out if they fill them where you are buying them or if they come prefilled from a factory.

I buy quite a few 5 gallon carboys to take with me on jobs just incase I underestimated how much mix I would need. When I call for the 5 gallon carboys, they fill them out of their fresh bulk tank when I get there.

Use Original Ultra Concentrated Dawn.

Anti-bacterial dish soap does not mix well with bleach.  It will release Chlorine gas!
