My battery went dead today so I pluged into my trailer lights is this a very good way to do it because if it is I will use that and use the new battery in my boat thanks

That may have worked in pinch but I wouldn't make a habit of that.

I assume you are referring to your battery for your 12volt diaphragm pump dying on a job?

If so, just remember that a 12volt pump requires I believe, don't hold me to it, a 20 amp fuse dedicated to this system and much heavier gauge wiring than the flimsy trailer wiring which is definitely not up to par for that type of amperage or voltage.

I am sure if you made a regular habit out of this it would not be long before you would have a fried wiring harness sooner, rather than later in your vehicle.
