Been looking for a good way to take credit cards on my website now that it is finally built for the most part...
I researched Pay Pay and a couple of other Online credit card exceptance companies... #1. The all want my banking info #2. They make all of the rules (23 pages of them)
Like you can use us for sure but please give us one kidney and a testical. If we chose we will and can take the other ones as well... Like if they decide to lock down you account for some reason. It is locked and so goes your credit rating... You can kiss your credit cards and your bank account good by!
Does anyone have any thoughts on a GREAT WAY to take credit card payments on a business website with out being drawn and quartered by a bunch of shirt and tie shalatans?
i am not sure my dad has a laser engraving business and he likes it.. what i am doing is checking with my bank to see if they have the process of doing a payment page on my website. their web person is on vacation till next week

Yes paypal is safe. Owned by Ebay of course. What you have to watch out for is that you will get emails that will look like they are from paypal but they are not and they will be asking for your information. Never follow the link in any email and only log into paypal by going to the site.
It takes them 30 seconds to deduct from your account the fees and any payments that you make and 2-3 days to make a deposit into your bank account. You can get a paypal debit card to get access to the money immediately. They also charge a higher fee than a normal credit card processor.

Good advice!'PayPal rocks, but watch out for scam emails, like he said
