We had a 2 story Tile Roof to Clean today in the Bayou Club in Largo FL. While my guy was spraying the second level out of no where this Possum came out and started running around. I'm sure she got sprayed with Roof mix. I imideatly had my guy stop and I started trying to spray her down with water. Then I noticed she had one of her baby's on her back. I spent 5min spraying here with water when finally I think she somehow threw her baby down off the Roof. I picked the baby up and rinsed it off all while trying to get mama off the Roof. She finally wrapped her tail around the gutter and climbed down the down spout. I followed her to the next door neighbors bushes and placed the baby down. I hope I rinsed them both off good enough and that the mother came back for the little one.

LOL...Yea! I felt bad for the little guy and his mom. I sure hope they are ok. Yes that is a house... I was dissapointed because I took a bunch of pictures but had my camera on the wrong setting. Everyone of them came out bad except for a couple. Arrrg!!!! We Cleaned the Tile Roof, a huge concrete driveway and a number of areas where they had Mold growing on their Brick exterior.
You are a good guy. It is sooo cute! You probubly did alright.. They might be a little tender for a while and not smell like a possom for a few days LOL but I think they will be cool!
I know it is easier said then done,but a "wild" animal may not accept the baby after you touched it with your bare hands.When possible gloves are reccommended while handeling "wild" animals. { safty reasons also incase you are bitten }
I always try to watch out for lizzards, frogs etc... I feel bad for the litle guys when we are Cleaning Roofs and they get sprayed with mix...When my wife was out of work she would come with me on all my Pressure Washing and Roof Cleaning jobs. I would always find her with some kind of creature giving them a bath and rinsing them off.
