Hey guys, just thought I'd drop an intro line.  I'm Steve, I reside in Seattle, WA and I've been cleaning roofs and offering other services for about 8 years now.  Started my own business 3 1/2 years ago and all is well.  I'm currently trying to cross over from the dark side and try this "no pressure" not "low pressure" cleaning like most of my competitors out here DON'T.  However, I'm still checking local laws and regulations as this "green" state can be difficult to run a business in when you mention the word chemical.  Either way, this forum will be a terrific asset to my business.  Thank you to you all!

Welcome to the forum Steve. For sure check code compliance for TSP/phosphates. I think the rest of chems for Apple sauce and Apple Cider will get the green flag in most all states. This is a one of kind forum. The information available on this forum is a gateway to  success if you stay focused. Great to have you aboard.

Pat, only you know the pain I suffer in the greenest of green-mossy states.  I have family in Yelm and that's considered the "sticks" out here.  Maybe some day I'll retire out there?  Wait, no... ...my retirement just may be the day i die up here sadly...  no

I was back there about a month ago and it no longer feels like home to me. Been away for 20 years and it has grown too much for my tastes.

Moss isn't so bad, a lot less mowing than grass.....LOL

I'm just starting this and have experimented on my own house so I know it will work. Try and find an old shed with moss and have them let you spray it for free as an experiment. I'm sure you can find one and then check on it every 1-2 weeks with photos to document the progress and then you will have a good time line as to how long it takes. Most here do not have to deal with moss or much of it.

Thanks Pat, Great idea!  Been experiencing a bit with it myself.  In fact, I have a shed in the back with about an inch or two of moss on it. I'll give it a shot.  Could be great before and after pics for my site.
