ATTENTION ALL RCIA MEMBERS:

We are in the process of Change.

First of All....

We appreciate ALL of you who are SERIOUS about PROPERLY and SAFELY cleaning ROOFS and we respect and appreciate your time and efforts in posting and helping to make the RCIA the great Roof Cleaning Resource it is.

However, there are MANY that come here as GUESTS and take selfishly from ALL who GIVE the information here selflessly and MOST of those COUNTLESS LURKERS never participate and give back to the forum or its community of members.

These are the hacks of tomorrow. By these LURKERS coming to the site and gaining all the HARD WON Knowledge given away so freely they can set themselves up in business with OUR information but never participate in CONTINUED EDUCATION and advancements in our market which is VITAL for continued GROWTH and PROSPERITY in the Roof Cleaning Industry.

It is NOT fair to all those here that want to honestly and fairly learn, and for THOSE that WANT be a part of something unique and special in the contract cleaning forums.

These NEW Changes serves to PROTECT our MARKET SHARE and BOOST CUSTOMER TRUST and LOYALTY and most of all RESPECT in our contract cleaning market niche'

For those that truly strive for the BETTERMENT of this roof cleaning and treatment industry as a whole, these changes will be a BREATH of FRESH AIR toward building a more CREDIBLE recognized knowledge base for the Roof Cleaning trades as a whole .

The RCIA is becoming the vision of what it was intended to be, which is the #! FIRST of its KIND, PREMIERE ROOF CLEANING training and CERTIFICATION AUTHORITY.

The Roof Cleaning Institute Of America is NOW a TRUE CONTENDER, a recognized Institute of higher learning in the contract cleaning trades, specifically in the Roof Cleaning market segment.

We are READY and poised for GROWTH.

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY:

All who have decided to be a part of this forum up until today, April 18th, 2009, will be considered for CERTIFICATION under the CURRENT standards of CERTIFICATION.

From here on out, may it be known to all, that there ARE going to be NEW standards going into effect on or before MAY 15th, 2009.

After MAY 15th, 2009 we will begin to proceed and ENFORCE the NEW Certification STANDARDS May 2009 for the RCIA and it WILL be harder to pass the upcoming written and oral testing and MORE will be required of you as contractors in the roof cleaning market segment to OBTAIN RCIA roof cleaning CERTIFICATION in order to COMMERCIALLY use our RCIA LOGO and its COVETED CERTIFICATION credential.

This LOGO and its CREDENTIAL and the HONOR of PRESENTING it proudly MEANS something. It stands for credibility and integrity in the Roof Cleaning Industry.

There is a saying that goes

"If you can't STAND for SOMETHING you will fall far ANYTHING.

We, the members and ADMINISTRATION of the RCIA want out ORGANIZATION to STAND for something MEANINGFUL.

If we hand out CERTIFICATIONS easily it will cheapen the the meaning of being a tested, experienced, CERTIFIED roof cleaning professional.

We, ALL of US, have worked hard to learn and better our industry and roof cleaning craft and will no longer hold the forum open to all but a FEW SELECT PROFESSIONALS who seek excellence and to uphold that STANDARD in the  Roof Cleaning Industry.

We will be implementing this for the benefit of our industry and for the sake of keeping up with the High Standards we should ALL be adhering to when conducting oursleves and our businesses according to proper standards set forth by proper, safe, SPECIFIC roof cleaning methods and outlines by which ALL RCIA members should use under the Guidelines for RCIA membership.

The GUIDELINES for RCIA membership will be forthcoming within the next 2-4 weeks appoximately.
