Do any of you as proffessional roof cleaners have the annual DOT inspection done on your trucks and trailers ?   The reason I ask is I have been talking with other  small business owners near me, and have been told that any vehicle used for business has to be inspected by the DOT.  We talked about the fact that there are all kinds of companies out there without the dot certification on them, you know, the trucks without the dot #'s on them.  They siad, the gov't is starting to crack down on this becasue it is a way to raise revenue.

I think in Florida it has to be over 26,500 lbs before an inspection is needed.
My vehicles are not that heavy so I am not worried.

Same here I just have to drive around with empty tanks the 535 gallons of water could put me over.
