Most new comers in the power washing business get started by going out and buying a cold water washer etc. I go crazy when I see guys pressure washing homes using a small cold water 3,000 psi machine on a residential home or a wooden deck with this much pressure. Most homes today constructed use a thinner grade of vinyl siding and the unknowing individual in the pressure wash business starts blowing the siding off or worse water gets behind the siding causing a major mold problem for the home owner. When we clean most homes with our equipment we use a low pressure spray to clean the residual from the home. We always apply the detergent Low pressure and rinse with Low pressure allowing the cleaning agent to do its job. I hope anyone who is just getting into the business will pay attention to this because it is very important, and always apply your detergent from the bottom up and rinse from the top down. We generally use a 40 degree fan #12 nozzle. We have never had any problems.

I may as well say it before someone else does. Guys, this is a roof cleaning board, not a pressure washing board. From my understanding other subjects will muddy the water for the search engines to differentiate this site from the others.
