Here is an Additional SOURCE for Air Daiphragm Pumps in Kynar (PVDF) and Teflon.
TEFLON is the most chemically INERT compound known in a man made material and has a "A" rating which is the HIGHEST rating for chemical resistance you can get.
Kynar (PVDF) is also very highly resistant to Chemicals as well.
When these two materials are matched TOGETHER for chemical delivery they match up to make some of the WORLD'S BEST chemical delivery pump materials, especially to use for cleaning roofs with Non-Pressure.
Chris, Thanks for the info. I will be looking into an air diaphram next season. In your experience what are the pro's and cons of the brands you have used?
There are lots of suppliers out there. You have lots of choices to purchase your equipment through. The reason so many people recommend Lori is because she is giving great prices and even better customer service. Some people on this board have been dealing with her for many years now and have a good working relationship with her.
I called and ordered a new Delavan 5850 from her about a week ago to keep as a back up to my current pump. She sent me pricing that was 15% cheaper than the next closest price. I had been up in the air about ordering one for about 6 months, but had not contacted Lori until last week. I checked many prices before hers and she was the cheapest.
As it turns out, I would have ordered from her if she were not the cheapest. Good customer service and ease of transaction go a long way with me. I'm not looking to spend crazy amounts of money, but I do believe in buying from good companies and people as long as the price is somewhat competitive. She called me to let me know when it shipped and to make sure that I was still happy with the purchase. Not many sales reps will do that for you.
Think about it this way. Do you want your company to be busy because you are the cheapest (not making any profit however) or do you want your roof cleaning company to be busy because you are know for great customer service (She has great pricing too)?
The veterans on this board have a lot of experience with suppliers and customer service. They put this information up for the same reason they give you all of this great knowledge........ They want to teach you something.
They are giving you the "tools and information" it is up to you to decide what you are going to do with it. You may want to listen though, because you may just learn something. I listened and I have learned an awful lot

In reference to the above post questioning pressure washing products and there prices.I stumbled on to this site after a very long day of unconventional roof cleaning.Three hours rinsing in 95 degree heat etc etc. After a very un welcome phone call placed to Dave the roof cleaning man i went to the vender section an decided to give Pressure washing products a call.I spoke to Rex an within 10 minutes i had all the stuff i needed.Titian reel 175 feet of hose jumper lines etc.I had already gotten the all flo pump by the way was 52 dollars higher than Pressure washing products.I had told Rex what i needed and that was it he told me how to set it up and alot of stuff about the products. He has a weath of know how in this field as well as pressure washing. So you dont have to every worry about anything from this company.Lori goes above an beyond to help and get the order out.I ordered 3 more titain reels on a monday told her i was in need of these by wed so i could complete my setup wed the ups man was there with 3 big boxes.Pressure washing products is a good company ran by great people.
Sal and Eagleman, I see you both have a combined posting of 4 so I am not sure if your familiar with pressure washer services. A lot of roof cleaners order many parts and supplys from them. As for prices from Lori, she and her farther that run there business has great prices and gives better prices to RCIA members to try and help us. Customer service from them is the best I have ever dealt with. I have been in the business now for going on 5 years and they have been the best I have ever dealt with. Give her a call and talk with her and you will understand she cares about this industry and will try her best to help you.
I would pay a little extra to deal with someone who cares.

I am sorry I only have four post.....I am trying to read and learn before I ask any questions. I understand what you all said about Lori, when I decide where I will go with the information I have learned on here I will consider her company. I just thought it was odd that only when one of the " higher ups " who seems to have a incredable amount of knowledge about roof cleaning suggested another company, Lori responded with lower prices. I was just " looking out " for others on here.
Price is one thing and customer support is another. They go hand in hand. Bring price and customer support back to your own company. If you are trying to sell your services on price alone I believe you will not build the kind of reputation you would like.
