Blog, Blog, Blog!!!

     I know many of the vets already know this, but for the new guys here, there is one major thing to do for higher ranking on your website: blog everyday if possible. Blogs go a long way in helping your site rank higher. I try to blog at least 3 times per week, for both of my sites, for a total of about 6-8 blogs per week. All blogs are targeted for specific search phrases and keyword optimization in my area. It works! For roof cleaning, we have the entire first page, and half of the second page. For pressure washing, we have almost the entire first page under the local links from google. So, next time you're sitting at home wondering how to get your name out there, get off your, no.....stay on your butt and write a blog!

What EXACTLY is a BLOG?

A BLOG is short for a "Web-LOG" or a Diary on the web.

A "blog" is a place you REGULARLY share your thoughts, views, ideas, findings, discoveries, plans, dreams and deadlines.

On the internet, blogging regularly keeps a running, "living" journal of all you include and let others have access to.

Being naturally curious, Humans want to know what other humans are doing, why they are doing it, and when?!

Because of our natural curiousity, WEBLOGS have become a "FAD" that is here to stay.

As more people go online to ask "what if" and "how to" questions, weblogs or BLOGS will become even MORE relavent as time marches on.

As I mentioned in a previous post, blogging can really help your ranking and overall exposure. In blogs, you can choose different keywords to target so that your site sows up just about anywhere. For instance, the other night I made a blog about apartment cleaning. Next day, google has me on the first page of "Evansville apartments" search. Keep blogging fellas.
