The Ridgid we use only has a 5.5

My opinion on air compressors is this, remove and replace.

After a year or so on OUR roof cleaning trucks, they are SHOT anyway.

Why rebuild a rust bucket ?

Cost of doing business to me ?

Think I will order some of these, like the extra HP over the Ridgid.

Only had ONE Chinese PUMP ever fail, and it was low on oil on a HUGE, HUGE roof,

The other Chinese Pumps have done OK, just use sysnthtic compressor oil ?

This baSTARD has 11.6 CFM at 116 PSI  vs 12 CFM at 90 PSI for the Ridgid.

MY advice, GET one of these, and add a seperate 50 to 100 gallon air tank between it and the Yamada Air Diapraghm pump.

After a year, when it dies, and it will, chuck it, and start over ?

Remember, it is SUCKING in Corrosive AIR from the tank fumes ?

This takes it's toll on both the pump and the compressor metal body.

It WILL RUST, trust me on this.

YES, I would LOVE to have an Eaton or a Rol Air

But why spent 1500.00 on something that is DOOMED anyway ?
