This stuff is AMAZING guys.
Depending on how much you add to your mix, and it is DIRT Cheap. you can go from a slight cling, to a foam, OR to a GEL !!!
This will greatly assist dwell time, making it possible to clean with even LESS Chlorine, saving Money AND Plants.
This is the "Holy Graille" for us roof cleaners.
The stuff is a POWERFUL Surfactant too, making TSP and other non water soluble additives obsolete!
The Company who makes this HAS supplied this product WITH a scent in the past.
So, we will be able to have our choice of scented, vs unscented!!
I am SOO very excited about this discovery guys I can hardly sit down!
Just to give you some ideas, a 55 gallon drum of this stuff is under 300 dollars !!
It only takes .5 to 1 percent to do it's thing, so 55 gallons lasts FOREVER !!
That means, in our 300 gallon tanks, we only need from 1.5 to 3 gallons added to our mix.
and TOTAL water solubility, just dump it in, and STIR.

Can YOU see the advantages of this product ?

I know you and I have discussed this before, several times since last year.

It is good to know that you are moving ahead with the new samples and testing.

It sounds like from the other posts we are all eager to hear the results you obtain.

Meanwhile I would also like to test this product.

The Chlorine Stable Surfactant is called Deterge CS 45 LE and the Surfactant with the thickener is called De Mox CSG 30

Talk to either Pam or Ernest Randolph at 561 994 9696 if you would like to assist in the roof cleaning surfactant testing ?

No Kevin, they are DIFFERENT products!
The De Mox contains BOTH the Chlorine stable surfactant AND a thickener
The Deterge is ONLY the Surfactant.

The De Mox is a little more expensive, and it was said  you can just use a LITTLE of it if only a surfactant is needed.

I THINK a thickened mix will increase dwell time, and allow the use of LESS Chlorine strength due to the surfactant aiding the roof cleaning mix ?

We will SEE ?

I URGE any and ALL roof cleaners to take part in this important study ?

Perhaps ONE day, you can honestly say you were on the ground floor of changing what we use for a roof cleaning chemical ??

The stuff is NOT expensive at all,, actually works out CHEAPER then Dawn, in the long run !

They only sent enough to make up 5 gallons or so, for me to decide how much we need to get the viscosity correct.

Sounds great Chris... really keen to see it. Chemical names would be good if possible, as i need to locate chemical supply here in Oz.... too difficult to import chemicals.

then if thats not hard enough, I cant get 70% of most things I need locally... if i do, they cost an arm and a leg and I have to buy bulk orders  .... patience and your invaluable information is they key...

I'm definitely interested in trying a new product. Whatever makes our job easier.
