There should have ben another option in the Poll maybe ?

It should have read "Sometimes I do a partial rinse"

If there are delicate plants with no gutters, it can be useful to rinse about 1/3 to 1/2 way up the roof, from the ground.

But, when you rinse this way, be SURE to water all the plants you just rinsed hot chemical into really good. 

Rinsing is an "Art", it really is.

 Here in Florida, it is very humid, and dried solution can get "re activated" by the morning moisture (dew) and drip off the roof, when no one is there to water it off.

Or, a half ass rain can happen, bringing all that salt solution off the roof, w/o having enough water to rinse it off the plants completely.
