Sweet! It was right on the money? That's cool.

15 gallons of 12.5% bleach
25 gallons hot water
5 lbs. TSP
2 quarts alcohol
and 12 ounces of dawn?

Man, that's really awesome. Gotta love it when a plan comes together as well as that!

I love the way that mix works, it's like magic! 15 minutes is pretty amazing, isn't it?

Some people have a hard time believing it until they actually see it, you know what I mean? HAHA!!

Using 40 gallons of mix, hopefully you charged around $400

Cool, you made some fat bank today! Very impressive.

All of your competitors will be wishing to know what you know!

You've got them smoked already!  LMAOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No comparison between Apple Cider Sauce and Spray and Forget (Regret), HAHAHA!!!

15 minutes vs. 15 weeks.  HHHMMMMMMM, which one should I pick???? DUH????

If you don't mind post the picures here for everyone to see. Always nice to look at others' work.

Personally I don't like Borax because it doesn't dissolve good. I use TSP and alcohol instead.  See APPLE CIDER SAUCE thread.

Dawn, Ajax, Tergitol NP-9 all work well.

NP-9- Thickest
Dawn- Thick
Ajax- Less thick

Hey Mike, the NP-9 is chemical name  "Nonylphenol Ethoxylates"  and it looks to be available from Univar, ever buy it this way, and if so how much?  Also where do you get it as Terginol NP-9? Thanks!

Jeff

Bump That....

Eric,

Please Kindly post those new pics on the board ASAP for all new roof cleaners and old alike can see how that new job of yours turned out.

We would ALL appreciate that. If you have trouble with the upload please e-mail me and I would be glad to walk you thru it.

The best way I have personally found to up load pics onto RCIA is to get google PICASSA (if you use G-MAIL) and then create an account (if you don't already have one) and download all your roof cleaning pics to that account and then take the code script and cut and paste it in your RCIA posts.

With a little practice you'll be adding pics to this board in no time.

You can also do the same thing by opening an acount with Photobucket http://www.photobucket.com and going thru the sam process.

Note: Photobucket has some additional photo editing features built-in to its terrific free photo editor, that are not available on Google Picassa (mainly the ability to RE-SIZE photos using built-in length x width parameters).

Good Luck, Great Job on the Roof and Happy Picture Postin'...

Univar only sells it in 55 gallon drums under the name Tergitol NP-9, here in Greensboro.  I don't want that much.  I haven't bought it in a while, because dawn/ajax works fine.  Chemistry store is where I got it last time.

Same stuff, different names.
