Appreciate the input... My local pool chemist suggested I try it out. Didn't seem expensive...depending on ratio's you need to clean with. So I figured I ask.
Well here anyways,...calcium hypo is around $3.99 for one of those single application bags. The Lithium hypo was around $7.99. Either way I wasn't impressed. By the way, when I want to try something,... and I really got the itch,....I go get it and try it. always worth a shot. Jeff

Tis true.. and I have alot of experimenting planned for this season, but if 20 people tell you that something doesn't work... and you trust them... then chances are you can move that experiment down in the list of priorities. I have other things that I am trying to improve on as well. So if someone says it isn't good... then I'll move it to the backburner for now.
I like proven solutions... but I like to try new things too. I'll eventually find someone that is replacing thier roof... and ask if I can clean it a day or two before they do... to test new cleaning procedures.
