Starting a Roof Cleaning Business
Permalink

Good Evening Forum.
I am new to the RCIA forum and am considering starting a roof cleaning business in a midwest community that seems to be ripe with opportunity and am seeking start up advise including equipment, marketing & website, pricing/quoting, cleaning agents, any startup experiences.

I realize that approaching midwest winter temps are not ideal time to start but hope to raise market awareness and generate demand during this "cold season". Any advise is appreciated. Thank you.

I suggest you contact Pressure Tek in Ohio, and buy a 12 volt Delavan set up with the 5/8 hose option.
I suggest at least a 100 gallon tank, 225 gallos even better.
Some have had luck  roof cleaning in cold weatheer bu using a hot water pressure cleaning machine to "warm the roof up" first.
Then, they make their roof cleaning product a bit stronger to compensate for the warm water already on the roof.
Do not scald a customers roof with 200 degree water !!

Chris,
i really need your help, i'm getting quotes from suppliers and insurance companies, trying to analyze the cost on starting up the roof cleaning biz. everytime i look at the cost i always worry about my market. i'm in California, Chino Hills, and right next to Orange, LA, and inland empire counties, our weather/climate here is totally different from where you guys are(is it?)i know and passionate about the this biz because of the it's safety and effectiveness to us and cusumers.

i have checked and there is not alot doing this kind of biz, well, these methods, and seems very hard to educate consumers with something new.

right biz!! but am i in bad market??

i see alot of roof that needs to be cleaned but would the formulas and technique be the same? i need a boost! word of wisdom, clarity..

help me YODA..please...cry

thanks
