This is the current 12 volt pump of choice http://www.delavanagpumps.com/pdf/Data_Sheet_5800and5900.pdf
Since it has Viton Valves, do not run too much Sodium Hydroxide through it.
It is great for roof cleaning chemicals, and a great pump.

I am running a 5850. It has worked great up through 10 jobs but yesterday it wouldnt kick on. I scratched my head for a few minutes then whacked it with a wrench and it took off. I know it wont last forever and I have been (1) contemplating buying another for backup (2) upgrading to the fatboy but I like being able to plug into an outlet or my pwer (3) upgrading to an AD pump I already have a 12 cfm Titan Industrial wheelbarrow style air compressor with 8 Gallon tank

I am seriously leaning towards (3)  My thinking is if im gonna spend 150 or 250 on the delevans why not spend a little more and go with the AD since im already halfway there.

I have a roof to do next week thats probably a 10/12 and it will be a stretch to reach it all from the eaves. I guess I would like the confidence that my pump can handle any job........ maybe I could chase some of these big dirty churches around here.

Any thoughts on this?

I am in the middle of my aodp setup waiting for a few parts to come in. If you have the compressor i would definetly choose that route. This is the set up that all the godfathers of this forum use. My set up should be complete by next friday and off to clean some roofs the week after.
