Rigid brake lines....

We just had one give out.  Thank goodness we got back to the yard safely and didn't realize it until the next work day.  Be very cautious of rigid brake lines and any other safety hazards as a result of corrosion/rust  due to SH.

$450 in labor plus parts...Far better than the alternative.... FAR better.....

I have had break lines burst from rust, with 500 gallons of roof cleaning chemicals. It is kinda scary, to say the least.

U Joints are also suspect, and I have welcomed driveshafts into the cab of the truck at 65 mph before.

You MUST inspect your chit guys, just like Ted says.

It is also a good idea to coat the brake lines with a liquid rubber coating.

YES Chris.... U Joints.... I had my rear go a few weeks ago. Luckily, I have 4x4.... I pulled off the drive shaft and drove my big ole dually home using front wheel drive ! ! ! I actually "lit them up" pulling out of a hill/stop sign....

I never thought about the MIX being a culprit....
