Umm! Why don't you just have a ball valve at the end of your line and shut it off to change over from surface cleaner to wand or whatever your using? Trust me! Its a it easier.

I don't want the extra bulk or weight on the end of my hose while doing all the pressure washing of houses,decks and screen porches in the Raleigh, NC. and surrounding areas.

 I guess I could put quick connects on both ends and only use it when doing concrete. Pretty sure I would forget to grab it half the time though.

 Your kidding right? The ball valve weighs about 3lbs. If that. You really think its easier to run back and forth to the rig,shut it all down, run back to the gun, hook up, run back to the rig to start up the machine and run back to the rig again?? WOW, I just got worn out typing that. Besides you cant get very far with a 9ft whip line while trying to drag the surface cleaner along with it...

No I'm not kidding. Hold a gun with a lance over your head with one hand for a couple hours and then add those little bitty 2lbs.

  Who is running back and forth turning machine on and off. That is why I did this. If I see a wasp nest at the peak of the garage I can pull the gun and knock it down and continue on my merry way. I splatter crap all over the garage door I pull the gun and rinse and continue on my merry way.

Ok. I don't get it. I have been doing this over 11the yrs and that ball valve has never been an issue.  I guess you would really think Im nuts when I tell you I have a ball valve and a swivel at the end of my line...

Certain models of Landa surface cleaners have this added on. I used one about 10 years ago. Not a new idea,..and it does have its place.
