That would be a "keeper" IF you had a PLACE to KEEP

That's one BIG truck and it has probably been stored inside most of its life.

You would definitely want to keep up the GARAGE always tradition when not in use.

It is Ultra cool in a "Leave it to beaver" sort of way.

Pump would be useless to a roof cleaner, 470 GPM? Ohh Lordie......

It is a great example of what our tax dollars go to use for and how much use it actually gets.

On the positive, it would be a show stopper when pulling into ANY neighborhood.

I wonder what she''ll bring at end of auction?

You could do an entire HOA subdivision and at the same time with that pump.laughing.gif

You know Chris did mention using a fire hose nozzle on one of his other posts. Wonder if this is what he meant?

470 gpm you could do a roof in under 6 seconds for 40 gallons.shocked.gifIf you don't get blown off the roof.


Thought you all would get a kick out of it.

Some things to think about is this auction site when looking for replacement vehicles. Think of what you could do with an ambulance or small fire truck. (like a brush fighter) They have the suspension to carry the tanks. The SH is going to eventually ruin whatever you buy so why not buy used and paint it. Uhaul is another good place to get low cost used trucks. I know individuals that have 2 helpers and they are in the moving business with one or 2 trucks from there.

A friend of mine bought a fire truck at auction and replaced the tank with a dump bed. Same deal low mileage older truck with a ton of chrome ,could haul anything. He should have kept the tank just for gas.

Not a bad idea. That tank and alot of the other parts are Aluminum and can be recycled along with the steel. Might partially pay for flatbed conversion. Also get attention when neighbors see a flatbed fire truck on the curb. You could also cut out the tops and put the tanks inside and keep it looking like a fire truck. Open a side door and you have a hose reel inside etc. Better yet I saw a working ladder truck in the auction site also.
